The Anti-Grannies, short for United Anti-Grannies (U.A.G.), and later known as the Humanists, are a political party that rose to power in Japan in the 41st Century. They believe humans should be in charge of Japan's government and oppose Grandmother, the robotic entity that controls all of Japan. This has made them antagonists to Grandmother's protector Rai. However, following the demise of Grandmother, the Anti-Grannies rebranded themselves as the "Humanist Party" and installed Shinji Tanaka as President of Japan.
