- The Fourth Wall is broken by Editor-in-Chief Warren Simons, editor Josh Johns, writer Fred Van Lente, illustrator Clayton Henry, colorist David Baron, and CEO Dinesh Shamdasani, who appear as cartoon characters and add commentary on the inside cover and four colored pages that are added at the end of the story.
- The colored pages are page 2, 5, 11, and 22 of the original zero issue (with the index page being page 1).
