Major Charlie Palmer of the U.S. Military, also known by the codename Gunslinger, is a member of the H.A.R.D. Corps combat unit. They are a team of soldiers created by the secret military organization Project Rising Spirit to hunt down and neutralize rogue psiots using neural implants that imitate psiotic abilities. Palmer is a senior member of the team who usually acts as field leader.
