The Colosseum, or Coliseum, is an ancient amphitheater and major landmark in Rome, Italy. It was built during Flavian Dynasty of the Roman Empire which is why it's also known as the Flavian Amphitheatre. The Colosseum was used to host gladiatorial shows and other events.
