Synopsis[]

This article does not have a synopsis recorded yet.

Notes[]

  • Cover layout, logo, and letters page design by Comicraft.
  • Contains an afterword by editor Mike Marts and an essay, "New Directions Into A New Century," written by Peter Sanderson.
  • It is the first issue of the series that is not dedicated to a legendary artist, writer, or anything else.
  • It is also the first issue not being written by the series' creator and writer Bob Layton. In the afterword, Mike Marts writes "Bob felt strongly about the character of Bart Simms and the direction he intended to take him in. Unfortunately, the direction that our editorial staff wanted to take Bart in was quite different, due to future plans involving Jason Simms and his role as the new Doctor Tomorrow. As a result, Bob decided to opt out of scripting DT #12 and asked to be removed from the credits. That's why original DR. T editor Jeff Gomez was called in to script the series' final issue."

Quotes[]

In a way, Mushroom Cloud was right about one thing, Doctor Tomorrow had lived his life by some fairy-tale prime directive straight out of a Sci-Fi TV show.

I'll freak out about that later -- explain the chronosuit's weapons -- using 20th century vocabulary.
