Synopsis[]

Recovering the fabled Book of Geomancer from its hiding place in a friend's grave, Gilad is attacked by Welt and Hook, two of Master Darque's minions. Badly hurt, Gil steals a cab with a young woman inside. Later, she is questioned at her home by Detective Morgan, who doesn't realize that Hook and Welt are now stalking the woman in hope that she will lead them to Gil.^[1]
