Notes[]

  • The name of the fictional author "P.K. Verve" was already used by Matt Kindt for a character in the graphic novel Revolver and the ongoing series MIND MGMT, in the latter another character mentions she "met P.K. Verve in an alternate timeline. A parallel universe." The initials "P.K." are a homage to Kindt's favorite writer of sci-fi novels, Philip K. Dick.

Quotes[]

What good comes from anger? What has violence ever created? What beauty has ever come from a blow struck in anger?
-- Divinity
If getting our child back isn't worth fighting for, Abram, then what is?!
-- Myshka
I really hate to do this. Such a crude way to achieve results. But you two...you are trouble.
-- Doctor Tear
Calm yourself, young one. He is simply sleeping. We cannot have you interfering in matter of great cosmic importance. Our plane is complicated enough as it is. It lives in delicate balance. That must be maintained at all costs.
-- Doctor Tear
Your child is literally the glue that holds our universe together. I realize this is hard and perhaps impossible to understand, but your child serves a greater purpose. Your child is the Observer.
-- Keeper
Our child is not a tool for your survival. Our child will live to grow and choose his own fate.
-- Divinity
