Joshua Dysart

Joshua Dysart is an American comic book writer. He is known for doing a lot of research for his stories even traveling to the countries and meeting with the people he'll be writing about; e.g. spending valuable time in Uganda, Iraq/Kurdistan, and Sudan for his work on Unknown Solider, Living Level-3: Iraq and Living Level-3: South Sudan, respectively.

Dysart was nominated for the Eisner's 2002 Russ Manning Award (Most Promising Newcomer) with Violent Messiahs and for Best Series with Unknown Soldier in 2009.
