The Harbinger Renegades are a group of young Psiots who battle the corrupt Harbinger Foundation lead by Toyo Harada. Their leader is Peter Stanchek, the only Psiot on the planet who rivals Harada in power. The other original members include Faith "Zephyr" Herbert, an overweight nerd with the ability to fly, Charlene "Flamingo" Dupre, an ex-stripper with pyrokinesis, John "Torque" Torkelson, a disabled boy whose powers allow him to appear big and strong, and Kris Hathaway, a normal human girl. Harada seeks to hunt down and destroy the group, believing Stanchek is a threat to his vision of humanity. The group usually refers to themselves as the "Renegades," but outside materials refer to them as the Harbinger Renegades.

At some point after the second Harbinger War, the team went missing, with its members believed dead. Some believed Zephyr was still alive, and Pete Stanchek resurfaced in Chicago's Psiot City, missing his memory, but it's unknown what happened to the rest of the team.[1]
