Synopsis[]

All-out war between the Eggbreakers and Pete's renegade Harbingers is about to erupt when Solar intervenes. He transports the kids away, warning them not to confront Harada. But the kids go back anyway -- straight into a Harbinger ambush! Retreating, the renegades are tracked by the Eggbreakers and attacked on a country road. In the battle, Torque is killed. Stunned with grief, the kids now know that this war is for keeps!^[1]
