The main protagonist of the issue is Gravedog in his first appearance while Toyo Harada can only be seen on TV and computer screens. Harada's message is carried out by Darpan and Orchid; (at that moment) the youngest activated members of the Harbinger Foundation's Eggbreakers team.
Lewis LaRosa's variant cover is inspired by a Nazi propaganda poster featuring Adolf Hitler.
