The John F. Kennedy Space Center, or KSC, has been NASA's primary launch center of human spaceflight since the late 1960s. Its Vehicle Assembly Building (originally Vertical Assembly Building), or VAB, built in 1966 and standing over 160m tall, is the largest single-story building in the world.
