Notes[]
- Cover C of every issue in the Hero story arc is a parody of magazine covers, featuring headlines that reference various Valiant heroes, villains, and concepts. Notably, this issue features the "headline" "It's pronounced 'Twa-Ley'!" Mad Science in America. This is a reference to the character Doctor Toilet, who would not make a real appearance until Quantum and Woody (Volume 4) #1, which came out 4 months after this issue.
