M.E.R.O. (Valiant Entertainment)

M.E.R.O., also known as the Military Extraterrestrial Recon Outpost, is a now-defunct U.S. Government agency dedicated to monitoring alien threats. Their leader was Colonel Capshaw and their facility was located in Monument Valley, Utah. The Visigoth superhero X-O Manowar acted as their top agent in exchange for shelter for his people. Their assets would eventually would be merged with some from MI-6 to become G.A.T.E., the Global Agency for Threat Excision, after the organization became public during the Armor Hunters conflict.
