Madama Charade is a femme fatale and master of disguise. She can change her face and body to have the looks of somebody else and nobody would notice a difference. She was obsessed with Ninja-D and killed any of his other women.

History[]

Madame Charade's true identity and even origins are unknown. What is known is that, in the mid-60s, she used her powers of transformation to act as a thief and assassin, which brought her into the eye of the Ninja Programme, and more specifically, their then-active agent Ninja-D. His attempts to thwart her and her attempts to escape eventually led to a twisted, sexual game of cat and mouse, where they had sex as often as they tried to kill each other. Even after D retired from the Programme, the pair would continue to "fight" each other numerous times over the years, growing quite close. [1][2]

In the modern day, despite being under the radar for decades, Charade was tracked down by the Programme's modern agent Ninja-K, who was investigating Agent D's death. Found in a mansion in Luxembourg, Charade appeared to K as young and beautiful as she ever had. She attempted to seduce the agent, but he was quick to point out her guise was literally melting. In her old age, Charade could no longer hold together her shapeshifting for long. Charade told K of her history with D, but swore she was not responsible for his death. She attacked K when he attempted to bring her into custody, although she was swiftly defeated, and K decided leaving her alone to rot was the perfect punishment for a person so obsessed with attention. [2]

Personality[]

Madame Charade's vanity is both her defining characteristic and her fatal flaw. She cannot stand anyone seeing her elderly, almost "melted" form, and was more willing to die or kill Ninjak than willingly go into custody, where it would be visible at all hours of the day.

Powers and Abilities[]

  • Shapeshifting: While she primarily uses this ability to transform into other people, and to keep her form looking in her prime, Charade can also develop large, deadly spikes out of her fingers. In the present day, as an old lady, she cannot maintain herself and younger form, respectively, for more than two minutes anymore.

Quotes[]

My finger spikes? Darling, I haven't been able to form those in years. Though I'm flattered you're familiar with my checkered past. You must also know I have a weakness for MI-6's ninja agents.
