Malgam is a mercenary who belonged to the Armor Hunters until he was infected by one of the viral Armors that they hunt. He flees the former allies that want to kill him while battling the Armor as it slowly takes over his body. This has made him an antagonist to the Earth superhero X-O Manowar.
