- This version of Mapgiver is not named and is only shown in a cameo appearance alongside Aric of Dacia. He appears briefly aboard the Spider Aliens' mothership during a battle with the Armorines. Although Aric became X-O Manowar in the original Valiant Comics-era continuity, in the Acclaim Comics era the new X-O Manowar is Donovan Wylie. This cameo shows that in the new timeline, Aric simply never escaped from the ship where the Spider Aliens first captured him. Mapgiver originally died in the explosion caused by Aric's escape.[1]
