History[]
When Sandria Darque finally leaves her brother, Master Darque, in fear of his Darque Power, she meets Marius Boniface and they fall in love with each other. Meanwhile, her brother tries to track her down but the two manage to escape to Louisiana. When Sandria is pregnant and in labor, her brother shows up again. Not allowing him to kill Marius, Sandria sacrifices their child to summon the power of a wild voodoo loa and bond it to Marius so he would be powerful enough to oppose her brother. The Shadow Loa would then be passed through the Boniface line for centuries.
