The Pallbearer was a man who used a powerful magic coffin to channel monstrous demons, in order to kill humans who bonded to mystical Loa, until he was stopped by the Shadowman.

Powers and Abilities[]

Superhuman Strength: The Pallbearer managed to overwhelm Shadowman with little difficulty.
Superhuman Durability: Much to Shadowman's surprise, the Pallbearer easily shrugged off all of his blows.

Equipment[]

Conduit: As his name suggests, the Pallbearer wields a large, floating coffin, that seemingly houses, summons, or channels a dangerous breed of Deadside monsters called Loa-Killers. He cannot control them without it, as when the coffin was destroyed by the Shadow Loa, the Loa-Killers turned on the Pallbearer.

Solicits for Shadowman (Volume 6) #3 referred to the Pallbearer as the "Undertaker".^[1]
