John Sinclair, or Charles Sinclair, also known as the second Para-Man, is a former MI-5 and MI-6 agent and commander who later joins the Secret Weapons team as Para-Man II.
For the original Para-Man see Richard Grant.
History[]
Charles Sinclair[]
The character is first introduced as a MI-5 agent called Charles Sinclair in Bloodshot #1 (February, 1993).
John Sinclair[]
In Bloodshot #13 (February, 1993) Sinclair becomes an agent and commander of MI-6. He's never called Charles anymore but only addressed to by his family name. It's clearly the same person as Bloodshot (Valiant Comics) remembers him from their previous encounter. As MI-6 agent Sinclair he also appears in early issues of Secret Weapons.
Para-Man (II)[]
In Secret Weapons #12 (September, 1994) Sinclair joins the (fourth) Secret Weapons team becoming the second "Para-Man" succeeding Richard Grant, the first Para-Man, who dies during the story and Sinclair puts on his Secret Weapons Suits to save the mission. Another team member, Carol, is furious because she had been in a romantic relationship with Richard. In Secret Weapons #14 (November, 1994), Carol calls Sinclair "John" (instead of "Charles") for the first time. Likely a mistake by writer Jesse Berdinka and the editorial team.
