WAR · PEACE · FEAR

So far, it's all been a game. Woody, sensing his best friend Eric's need to find real purpose in life, talked him into adopting super-hero identities and fighting crime. It was something Woody thought would last about a week or so. It was easy for Woody to take their cases lightly because they were all light-weight cases. It was all in fun, and all for the single purpose of mocking Eric while distracting them both through their mourning of their parents' deaths.

Neither Quantum nor Woody ever believed their new super-hero careers would ever become "real". Neither of them ever dreamed it would cost the life of one of their friends.

MAGNUM FORCE is a turn in the road of Quantum & Woody. In their first encounter with an actual villain, the heroes are, for the first time, confronted with the true cost of heroism. Woody's one-week "gag" becomes all too real for him, and the partners are given a fire baptism in the high-stakes, winner-take-all game of good verses evil--

--and the price to be paid for winning or losing it.
