Quartz is a member of the Armor Hunters, an organization of soldiers dedicated to destroying the sentient viral Armors that plague the universe. They came to Earth to battle the superhero X-O Manowar.

Personality[]
Despite being slow-spoken, Quartz is still quite intelligent, and an expert battle strategist.[2] He can be incredibly loyal to both his mission[3] and those who command him.[1]
Powers and Abilities[]
- Alien Physiology: Quartz is apparently the last survivor of a race composed of minerals.[4] This grants him incredible natural abilities, perfectly suited to his life as an Armor Hunter.
- Nigh-Unbreakable Skin: Quartz has a rocky hide tough enough to sustain blows from Armors with little harm.
- Crystal Regeneration: Over time, Quartz's body can heal from any wounds it suffers by growing crystalline "scabs".[3]
- Superhuman Strength
