Quiet Man was a member of the Bloodshot Squad and a former soldier turned into a nanite-fueled killing machine by Project Rising Spirit. He was killed during the events of Bloodshot U.S.A.
History[]
Next to nothing is known of Quiet Man's past. It is known he served as an agent of Project Rising Spirit's Bloodshot Program during the Gulf War, but his life before that is a complete mystery. It is likely that Quiet Man himself did not know much of his past, because of PRS's mental tampering, but he was aware of at least some of the actions he performed as a Bloodshot agent, and was horrified by them. The Bloodshot Program granted him incredible abilities, such as regeneration, but it wasn't enough for PRS. After being active for only a few years from 1991 to 1992, Quiet Man was put into suspended animation by PRS.
Decades later, he and other former Bloodshot subjects were brought back, and enhanced with modern nanite technology. Quiet Man fought alongside these other soldiers while they were used as test subjects for PRS's Deathmate experiments, until the modern Bloodshot aided them in escaping from the Project. Quiet Man and the rest of the "Bloodshot Squad" battled a nanite plague in New York, until Quiet Man fell in battle, overwhelmed by the nanites.
