The Red Brigade is a fictional team of communist legends-turned-superheroes Stalinverse lead by the former cosmonaut Myshka.
History[]
In the dark, twisted timeline of the Stalinverse, each member of the Red Brigade was specially recruited by the Soviet Union for their abilities and loyalty to the Union. They performed missions both for the safety of the Union and more politically-minded missions based on keeping public good will, such as their planting of the Soviet flag on Mars. [1] Back on Earth, Toyo Harada and Colin King hatched a plan to free Divinity from Russian custody so he could set the world to it's normal state. When the Russian government discovered this, the Brigade was sent after them, nearly defeating the outnumbered heroes. The Brigade's leader Myshka, however, was sympathetic to the cause of the rebels, so allowed them to secretely go free. [2]
Once Divinity was free, and had restored Earth's greatest heroes to their normal states, the Brigade refused to join them, and battled Divinity's forces. Divinity himself battled the creator of the Stalinverse, the evil Kazmir, and eventually convinced him to set the world back to normal. However, Divinity saw the Brigade as brainwashed innocent bystanders, so refused to remove them from history. The team was allowed to join the main timeline, each of them going their separate ways, some seeking redemption, others with more sinister intentions. [3] [4]
