The Red Legend is a Russian legend-turned-superhero and member of the Red Brigade during the Stalinverse. Red Legend is a heroic warrior, hero, and inspiration to the entire nation.
After the end of the Stalinverse, Divinity allowed the Red Legend to become a part of reality.
History[]
No one knows who the Red Legend really is, or where she comes from. She was found, orphaned and alone, in the ruins of a lumber mill just outside a Russian labor camp in the Stalinverse. She was adopted by a Jewish woman, and raised like her daughter. The girl, named "Nina", grew up with a head full of Russian folklore, particularly one about a bird called the "Red Legend". One fateful day, as a young woman, Nina's mother was harassed by a Soviet soldier, and Nina managed to punch him across a courtyard and through a wall. Studied by the camp doctor, it was found that her strength was tied to her motivation. She is as strong as she is motivated to be. This was discovered by the Russian government, who sent their champion of Communism, Myshka, to recruit Nina to their cause. On the terms that her mother's people were freed from their camps, Nina adopted the name "Red Legend" and joined the Russian Army, becoming a national hero and inspiration.[1]
The Red Legend joined Russia's superhuman Red Brigade, participating in public goodwill missions like the colonizing of Mars. She participated in the final battle of the Stalinverse, fighting the world's heroes alongside the rest of the Brigade. When Divinity returned the world to it's normal state, he could not bring himself to remove the Legend from history, as he believed she would not have existed without the Stalinverse. Red Legend became integrated into the main timeline, where she became a force for peace in Russia. [2]
Personality[]
Despite being part of the Stalinverse's Politburo, an antagonistic group set on world domination, Nina is not herself an evil person. She has the interests of the common people at heart, and believed that joining the Politburo would be the best way to help them.
