Saana is a descendant of the Visigoth slaves brought to Loam by the Vine empire. Her tribe is rescued by Aric of Dacia, also known as the superhero X-O Manowar, who returns them to Earth and becomes their King. Aric and Saana would begin a romantic relationship that eventually lead to them getting married.
