Safeguard, real name unknown, is one of three control liaisons for the corporate strike team known as the H.A.R.D. Corps. She is employed by Omen Enterprises to work as support staff, managing the neural implants that give the members of H.A.R.D. Corps their Harbinger-like Psi-Borg powers.
Safeguard, like Lifeline, supports Softcore when several members of the H.A.R.D. Corps go on different missions.
