Synopsis[]
Savage is an adventurer in the Valiant Universe. He is the child of a wealthy couple born after they crash-landed on a mysterious island filled with Prehistoric creatures. From a young age he was raised to battle dinosaurs. Savage is also the nickname given to his father, which is how the child took on the name.
Savage is considered to be Valiant Entertainment's version of Turok, a character once published by Valiant Comics in the 90's. Turok originally belonged to Gold Key Comics until Valiant bought the rights, but they lost them again in the early 2000's. Turok is also a man trapped in a bizarre, time-lost land full of dinosaurs and barbarians.
