Shadow Man is a series of video games based on the Valiant Comics character Shadowman. Two games were released, both third person action action-adventure games, in 1992 and 2002 respectively. While both games were relatively successful both critically and commercially, publisher Acclaim Entertainment went under just 2 years after the release of the 2econd Coming and a third game never surfaced.
The first game was released on digital PC stores in 2013, as well as a remaster for PC and console in 2022. In 2023, a successor to the series titled Shadowman: Darque Legacy was announced for release in 2024. Unlike its predecessors, Darque Legacy is modeled after the Valiant Entertainment iteration of the character, and thus features a new cast and setting, while also using the more common single-word naming scheme for the title hero.
