Before they were dominating the music charts and selling out stages worldwide, Slim Jxmmi and Swae Lee were just a pair of talented, but otherwise ordinary, brothers…until a twist of fate delivered them fame and wealth beyond their wildest imagination. Now, years later as hip-hop duo Rae Sremmurd, the brothers are bound for New Orleans…and an otherworldly encounter with the supernatural guardian called Shadowman, the lone line of the defense between our world and the Deadside that lies beyond…

The Valiant Universe collides with two of the most influential artists in hip-hop today as Shadowman and Rae Sremmurd come face to face to forge a new legend of fame, fortune, and magic – as told by rising star Eliot Rahal (BLOODSHOT’S DAY OFF) and renowned artist Renato Guedes (Wolverine)!

Quotes[]

I know you have a lot of names. And I don't care what you're calling yourself. I came here to bargain my soul with you so I could learn how to play this here six-string better than anyone else in the whole wide world.
-- Robert Johnson
My name is opportunity, gentlemen. You can choose to take it, or...you can work at a mattress factory for the rest of your lives.
-- Devil
Nothing is real, but everything is real. We aren't actually dealing with "the devil" that you are thinking of. It's a facade. He's an ancient loa. A trickster. He's powerful, and has built this part of the Deadside to fit his personality. Rumors are he's been collecting artists' soils for years. Captures them. Makes them perform for eternity. The bigger the act this demon gets, the bigger the audience of the damned he draws. The dead crave what's living and music is alive. The crowd gives him power.
-- Shadowman
And you haven't been able to stop him before because...?
-- Doctor Mirage
I've been busy. It's been a rough year.
-- Shadowman
Black beatles in the city be back immediately to confiscate the money!
-- Rae Sremmurd
Talk about one hell of a show...
-- Doctor Mirage
That's curtain call, mother@$#&er.
