The Coven is a group of practitioners of the mystic arts (voodoo) who seek to rid the world from the presence of Master Darque, a 19th Century necromancer. To achieve this goal, the Coven creates the "Shadowman", a dark-vested hero who they endow with a spell that makes him immune to harm from Master Darque's black magic.
