Notes[]

  • The Visitor learns the true face of The Harbinger.
  • The Harbinger attempts to mislead The Visitor by using other people's faces (he apparently has some form of illusion-making or shape-shifting power), but Visitor sees through those attempts. His explanation for the means is that he sees "into (Harbinger's) heart".
  • Harbinger's face is what Visitor expected to see. Visitor is interrupted before he can explain why he had an expectation.
  • It is confirmed that this Harbinger is the same one that appears at roughly the same time in Harbinger Vol 1 39-41 - or, at least, he too is an unquestioning follower of Toyo Harada, who he sees as his father figure.
  • Matt, Mr. Benson and Mr. Rodriguez all had visions of what they believe to be The Visitor at some point in the past. In Benson's case it was at Area 51 and it change his life in some way.
  • Benson seems to have fallen on hard times and to keep fond memories of his time as a USAF Major.
