The Visitor Vol 2

The Visitor is a six-issue miniseries published by Valiant Entertainment beginning in December, 2019. It is written by Paul Levitz and illustrated by MJ Kim and reboots the character The Visitor, apparently with a new concept that still connects to the original version.

"The Visitor is a mystery that unfolds as a group of Japanese scientists travel to America on a secret project, only to find themselves under attack by a mysterious adversary," Levitz said. "As the story unfolds, we'll learn about the project, the Visitor's origins, and how all of this connects in some significant ways to revealed and unrevealed aspects of Valiant mythology. I can't tell you about the Visitor himself...that would definitely be a spoiler."^[1]

Publication of this series was interrupted between issues #4 and #5 due to the lockdown during the COVID-19 pandemic.^[2] Shortly after Diamond listed the final two issues as "cancelled" on February 22, 2021,^[3] Valiant announced the new release dates via graphicpolicy.com.^[4] The series was eventually concluded with the final two issues being published in June, 2021.
