Notes[]

  • Despite Joshua being the Turok featured on some box art and in later games, the Turok starring in this game is Tal’Set, not Joshua Fireseed.
  • The "Instruction Booklet" of the "Collector's Edition" of this video game contains the exclusive comic book story The Way of the Warrior featuring both Joshua Fireseed and Tal’Set. The story is written by the same creative team of the Turok Quarterly series of one-shots, namely writer Fabian Nicieza and illustrator Rafael Kayanan, and is set in the Acclaim Comics continuity.
  • Because of it graphical violence (at the time), the game features the option to change the color of blood from red to green, or turn it off altogether. The German version of the game was censored so that only green blood was available. In addition, the German version had all human enemies rendered as robots. Unfortunately, the remastered version by Nightdive Studios from 2015 does not seem to feature any of these options.
