- A second issue/volume ("Valiant Reader 1994") was planned but canceled. It was first solicited for April 1994 and re-scheduled for October 1994 but, ultimately, never released.
- The summaries for Magnus, Solar, and Turok mention the original stories published by Dell and Gold Key; also showing the covers of the characters' respective first appearances in Magnus, Robot Fighter #1 (1963), Doctor Solar, Man of the Atom #1 (1962) and (Turok in) Four Color #596 (1954).
