The World of Tomorrow is Doctor Tomorrow’s secret base of operations and assembly factory. Built deep beneath the Simms-Forestall Aviation factory with the knowledge and technology of generations to come, provided by the "Angel Computer" - fully loaded with history files (from the future).
History[]
During World War II, in the early 1940s, Bart Simms gains access to history files from the future under mysterious yet unknown circumstances. The files contain all kinds of knowledge including actual history and information about future technology. Bart Simms decides to build a secret laboratory and base of operations beneath his father's factory in Huntington, New York. Together with the genius mastermind Chester "Cappy" Thorton he starts engineering gadgets and vehicles from the late 20th century - such as the Omen, the Prophet, the Tomorrow's One-Man Submersible, and the Tomorrow Motorcycle - that are well ahead of the time. Bart Simms becomes Doctor Tomorrow, convincing the United States Government that he is a time-traveling superhero helping the world to get rid of the Nazis. The only people who know about the truth are Bart, Cappy, and later on, Doris Martin.
