Yoshi Iwatsu is the son of Hideyoshi Iwatsu, the genius mastermind behind Project Rising Spirit. Although lacking his father's expertise, he attempts to take over the company following his father's death. His rival is his father's protege, Tanaka. He is a recurring enemy to the super-soldier Bloodshot.
