The Frontal-Cortex Broadcast Stimulator, more popularly known as the Zelig, is a chip that lets the common time traveler blend in the environment to avoid any kind of scene and stupid questions. It also lets the wearer easily understand and use the locale language.
According to Ivar the Zelig is "widely hailed as the single greatest invention of C.E. 6180 and the time traveler's best friend. It represses the impulses in others' amygdalae toward negative-emotive pattern recognition with reward to one's own self."
